How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Evaluate your funding request and match you with funding options

  • Communicate with you about your application, next steps, offers, and related services by phone, email, and SMS (with your consent — see Section 5)

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as described here:

  • Funding partners. When you submit a funding request, we share your application information with iFundYou and its lender network so they can evaluate your request and present offers. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies and any authorizations you sign with them.
  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the Site and our communications (such as hosting, database, CRM, email, and SMS providers). They may process your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sensitive Information

Your Federal Tax ID (EIN) and financial details are used solely to verify your business and process your funding request with our funding partners. This information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored with restricted access, and is never sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Cookies & Advertising Pixels

We use cookies and pixels — including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to understand how visitors use the Site, measure ad performance, and show relevant ads. These tools may collect device identifiers and browsing activity on our Site. You can limit tracking through your browser settings and ad preferences on the relevant platforms (e.g., Meta Ad Preferences). The Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Google.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain records of consent, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time (unsubscribe link in emails; reply STOP to texts)

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, correct inaccurate information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we will verify your request and respond within the time required by law.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
